Thank you

Thank you for my cooker
Though it takes a while
To begin to heat up
It's presence makes me smile
Thank you for my fridge
Though it's frosty and old
I love that it still keeps
My milk nice and cold

Thank you for my washing machine
Though it's button is broke
It still washes all my clothes
Though I have to poke and poke
Thank you for my home
It shelters me from the storms
Keeping me warm and dry
Where I can relax and write all my poems

Thank you for my Kettle
That makes a great wee cup of tea
Oh thank you loving God
All these things you give to me
Thank you thank you thank you
For these wonderful things you give
Imagine they weren't there
Imagine how you would live
