He'll sneak up behind you
On your soul to prey
He hates it when you're walking
In Gods victory
He'll attack you from behind
But turn and watch Him flee
When you submit to God
And resist that old snake
Oh give up your will to Christ
No matter how much it aches
You can only live
When you first do die
You can only laugh
After you do cry
So get to know your weak points
And be ready for an attack
The war does rage so fiercely
But nothing you do lack
When all your will
Is given over to God
It's time to die to self
And be risen with The Lord
