Man is born to die
But Man avoids the obvious
Oh why oh why
Do we seek to hide
In comfort and pleasure
To numb the pain
Of Gods greatest treasure
Trials, sufferings
Difficulties, pain
Sent in love
Heaven to gain
Don't forget
It's the wicked who smile
And have a good life
That lasts a long while
While the righteous suffer
Afflictions many
But God delivers Them
As they pay the last penny
To escape
The eternal flames
God has in His hands
Each one of their names
