Along the journey of life
Let's leave each other to walk it
Without causing needless strife
People change with time
Let's not press them too hard
Treat the young with gentleness
Don't play the moralising card
Make your main purpose
To be full of love and grace
Don't hand out many laws
Instead show them Jesus face
Don't condemn the outcast
The gays and the poor
Keep your eyes on your own sins
And you'll do well for sure
There's a time and a place
To speak of what you know
The good laws God has taught you
You may help people grow
When they're ready to take that
Step you want them too
Just don't push them too quickly
Even though what you know is true
Come be filled with wisdom
Come be filled with grace
Come be filled with love
Walk the weak mans pace
Come be filled with hope
And be full of beauty
Carry your brothers burden
Tis your only duty
