Look to His Son
What is God like
Look at what He done
Offered himself up
Upon a lonely tree
Bled and died for all
Yes for you and me
Can mercy end
Or forever does it endure
Will love change
Can we know for sure
Jesus Christ the same
Today and yesterday
And forever and ever
Oh magnify the Lord Yahweh
What is fire like
Are you baptised in it
Holiness and love
Can seem like a dark pit
To the evil wicked
Who hate grace and goodness
Forever they will rage
Curse and never bless
Oh rejoice you poor
Needy broken sinner
God upon the cross
Has made you the winner
How the proud shall flee
The self righteous tormented
Oh rejoice you that mourn
All you that have lamented
Oh all hail the Holy Lamb
Born to save us all
Oh answer speedily
To his mercy call
For if you ignore
Love until the end
You will own a will
That not even God can mend
