Oh when can we meet

I go each week
To a protestant meeting
It's warm and welcoming
With a holy greeting
We study Gods word
Huddled together
And we all come out
No matter the weather

There's not much like this
In Gods Catholic bride
Maybe something scattered about
Far and wide
But in each parish
It's hard to find
Rich deep fellowship
That warms the mind

I love Mass
But you're in and out
Without even a chat
Or hello to shout
Or maybe it's just me
Not getting involved
Never mind
At least I'm absolved

Oh when can we meet
Face to face
I think that's why I'm seeking
The Charismatic grace
Surely I can cast there
So many a care
As together we all
One another's burden bear
